Is Buying Vintage Clothing Really More Sustainable? A Vintage Work Jacket’s Journey

I know an Italian store selling vintage French work jackets sourced from Bangkok. The circuitous voyage these clothes make before finding their way back to Europe made me wonder about the green credentials of vintage clothing more generally.

We’re told that buying vintage clothing is more sustainable, but is this actually true?
